Boar Hunting

We are now offering free range wild boar hunting as well as guaranteed opportunity boar hunts. And, in addition to our boar hunting opportunities we also offer fair chase whitetail deer hunting and deer and boar hunting combination hunts.

Boar Hunting Methods

We cater to your hunting style. You can hunt boar from YOUR treestand, from a ground blind or spot and stalk. Depending on weather on animal movement sometimes all three methods are needed to put you on a trophy boar. Our boar hunts are NOT 'canned shoots', it's Boar hunting.

Legal and Recommended Weapons

Kills are usually are made at short ranges (10 feet to 40 yards) due to thick foliage and heavy ground cover.

• Rifles......30-30 cal. or larger using 180 grain round nose bullets or larger (high power scopes not recommended)
• Shotgun...12 ga. or larger with slugs only
• Black powder muzzle-loader...50 cal. or larger
• Handgun....44 mag. with a 270 grain bullet or larger
• Bow............65 lb. pull or larger compound bow. Recurve bows welcome also.

(Hollow point and ballistic tipped bullets are not recommended for wild boar, but may be used on thinner skinned game.)

Meat Processing

Meat will be processed at an on-site butchering shop. Hunting prices above include the guide field dressing your boar and getting it back to the lodge where it will be skinned and quartered. Additional butchering are available for an additional fee.
 

Welcome Female Hunters

We welcome and encourage female hunters to come hunting with us. We have a private room available as well as a separate restroom for the lady hunters.

Private Room

Add a private room to any package above that includes lodging. We have one private room available on a first to reserved, first served basis.

Standard lodging includes a bed in a bunk style room. Keep in mind we have three of these bunk rooms and we do try to house everyone in a room with their own party.
