Tennessee Boar Hunting

Hello Hunters!

Thank you for booking your hunt with me, I am looking forward to meeting you. Please print a copy of this for all of the adult hunters in your party.

Just a few things about your upcoming boar hunting trip. The nearest Wal-Mart type store is about 1 hour round trip from the lodge, so have what you need before you get to Monterey.

Your trip includes 3 meals per day, but there is a full kitchen in your lodge for your use if you want to bring along snacks or extra/special meals. We do provide some beverages including soft drinks, but if you need a daily "fix" of some certain brand of soft drink you will probably want to bring some with you. There is also a washer and dryer available for your use.

Cash, money orders, credit cards or travelers checks must be used to pay for the balance of the hunt.

- Hunters must wear hunter orange while hunting
- No alcohol in the hunting areas but it is allowed in the cabin area

The mailing address to the lodge is, 552 Cedar Chapel Rd Monterey, TN 38574, but I recommend using the following direction instead of the back way in most GPS units want to bring you.

Directions:

From I-40, use exit 300 Monterey, TN (1/2 way between Nashville and Knoxville)

Exit 300, go north/east 1 mile to Commercial Ave (Hwy 84) turn left.

Take Hwy 84 North about 7 miles to Dry Hollow Rd., turn right (at a small store)

Take Dry Hollow Rd. 5.2 miles to Cedar Chapel Rd, Turn right onto Cedar Chapel Rd

The hunting lodge is 2 miles down on the left at 552 Cedar Chapel Rd. Look for the large sign and address on mail box.

A few things you might want to bring, mostly your common hunting gear :

- Weapons & Ammo (bow & arrow, Crossbow & bolts)
- Rain Gear
- Cool weather clothing
- Orange Vest
- Small Backpack or fanny pack
- Canteen or bottles of water
- 2-way radios come in handy
- Flashlight
- Shooting Stick
- Camera/video camera
- Binoculars
- Cooler(s) for meat
- DVD's
- Garbage Bags (for wet hunting clothes, skull, keeping meat separate in coolers, etc.)

I am here to make sure you have the most enjoyable hunting trip possible. If there is something you need, something you can’t find or something I can do to make this trip better, please don’t hesitate to ask. My cell phone number is (931)319.9640, cell reception is poor in the areas we are hunting so sometimes text messages work best.

Thanks Again, and looking forward to meeting you all soon.

Happy Hunting,
Todd Ratermann
