Dove Hunting

We know how hard it is to find a safe, private property to hunt and enjoy the outdoors without being over run by the crowds of public lands or paid dove shoots. Our solution is that we allow only a very limited number of hunters to hunt our food plots at one time. All of our dove hunts are 100% free-range, fair chase wild animals. Hunt dates must coincide with state hunting seasons as well as all bag limits and other regulations. Dove hunts require all applicable Tennessee State hunting licenses.

We maintain food plots of sun flowers, standing corn, winter wheat and other plants to help bring in and hold doves in our area. The 2010 season was one of the best ever with dozens of birds in the plots every time I went out.

In addition to our dove hunts we also have Tennessee wild boar hunting opportunities and combination hunts. 

Dove Hunts

Parent & Child Dove Hunt - this dove hunt package includes 3 nights lodging, 3 days hunting and meals. This is a semi-guided, 100% fair chase hunt for 1 adult and 1 child 15 years old or younger. You are each allowed to kill a legal daily bag limit of doves per day as allowed by state law.

Adult Dove Hunt - this dove hunt includes 3 nights lodging, 3 days hunting and meals. This is a semi-guided, 100% fair chase hunt for 1 person 16 years old or older. You are allowed to kill a legal daily bag limit of doves per day as allowed by state law.

Group Dove Hunt - have the entire main food plot area to yourself or your group. This well maintained food plot area can easily hunt 15-20 people separated out in groups of 2 to 3 hunters. This is a semi-guided, 100% fair chase hunt for you and/or your group. Each hunter is allowed to kill a legal daily bag limit of doves as allowed by state law.

Dove Hunting Methods

We cater to your hunting style following state game regulations. We only allow a limited number of people to hunt our fair chase areas at any given time, we want your hunt to be as enjoyable an undisturbed as possible.

Generally speaking you can hunt with or without dogs which ever you prefer while roaming our huge farm lands. Most dove hunters stick to the areas around our well maintained food plots.

Legal and Recommended Weapons

Weapon options are in accordance with state law and may vary slightly by season and species. generally speaking, the below weapons are legal.

• Shotgun - .410 or larger

Welcome Female Hunters

We welcome and encourage female hunters to come hunting with us. We have a private room available as well as private restroom facilities.

Free Range Hunts - License Requirements

Our dove hunts are free range wild animal hunts. Hunt dates coincide with state hunting seasons and regulations. Hunts also require a Tennessee State Hunting License. License fees vary with hunters age and residency.

Tennessee non-resident license fees for the 2012-2013 hunting season are as follows:

• Junior 7-day Small Game - for youths 13-15 years old (type 070), $9, minimum requirement for youths 13-15 years old to hunt doves.
• Junior All Game Annual - for youths 13-15 years old (type 086), $40
• 7-day Small Game - (type 072) $50.50 (minimum requirement for adult non-resident small game hunter)
• 7-day All Game - for hunters 16 years old or older (type 074), $175.50
• All Game Annual - for hunters 16 years old and older (type 073), $251.00

Meat Processing

Meat can be processed at an on-site butchering shop. Hunting prices above include the field dressing your game and getting it back to the lodge if you would like us to. We can provide complete processing and vacuum packing of your small game for a nominal based on quantity and species.

Taxidermy Service Available

We work with a premier local taxidermist who can professionally and artistically mount any animal we have available to hunt. we have lots of samples of his work available for you view, and his prices are very reasonable.
